Press Release
The leading lights in the Asian telecoms market were rewarded for their endeavours and for their vision when Total Telecom presented the sixth annual Asia Communication Awards (www.asiacommsawards.com) in Singapore on Wednesday night.
A top-level telecoms audience enjoyed an evening of entertainment and networking alongside the presentation of the awards at the Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel.
The event culminated in the arrival on stage of Ririek Adriansyah, president director of Indonesian mobile operator Telkomsel, to collect the prestigious CEO of the Year award. But there was no shortage of excitement earlier in the evening either, as a series of delighted telecoms operators and equipment providers were called upon to collect their trophies.

The Asia Communication Awards 2016 proved to be a fitting end to an action-packed day in Singapore.
Earlier in the day, Total Telecom presented its first VirtualiseThat! briefing. The half-day event, supported by virtualisation expert VMware, looked at how telecoms operators are moving beyond the proof-of-concept phase into the NFV world.
The event brought together a range of industry experts to debate the state of play in the market. Look out for more feedback from that event from Total Telecom in the coming days.
