> Dynamic evaluation-based precise network modeling

Huawei NetSense solution leverages the most comprehensive industrial bearer network data available to build a precise network model. Based on an understanding of operators’ live networks and services, monitoring thresholds and the index system are designed to dynamically evaluate data from the live network and create a precise model. First, active and passive and in-built and external probes, atom meters, and mobile APPs are used to obtain multi-dimensional data on the network. Multi-vendor networking is supported and a precise network model is created based on the quality and traffic data of the whole network. This enables the index system of the bearer network to comprehensively measure the live network on a 24/7 basis. Then, the monitoring platform is used to analyze and diagnose real-time data from the live network. Data comparison and analysis are consolidated with the resource management system to automatically display quality and traffic data hop by hop in the system and to provide peak traffic data down to the millisecond. This helps to instantaneously analyze the impact that the peak traffic has on the device memory, learn the service traffic change status for each base station, and monitor the changes and trends in quality and traffic for the bearer network at any given moment. 

The NetSense service solution also performs static and dynamic evaluation on the capacity, service path, and LTE base station access capability for the bearer network. Huawei NetSense solution helps to learn of changes in traffic and in network service performance to locate faults down to the second between the bearer network and surrounding systems, restore the fault path in one-click mode, and provide detailed information for each hop based on the fault path (including KPI data for the network performance and traffic). This allows for rapid fault location and accountability and great improvements in operational efficiency. In contrast with the traditional network management O&M solutions, Huawei NetSense solution provides KQI data based on the actual service flow and KPI data based on the actual service packet test to support the association analysis between KQIs and KPIs. During the operation maintenance phase, Huawei NetSense solution uses the index system to provide network capacity and network bottleneck forecasts based on service trends. Based on live network bottleneck and trend analysis, Huawei NetSense solution provides optimization and restructuring services for the bearer network and performs whole-process monitoring for the service bearer quality during the restructuring process, so as to ensure that the service quality improves greatly after the network optimization. Before new services run on the bearer network, Huawei NetSense solution performs a simulation of service bearing capability.
