Jaap Postma to take up new role on 10 May; Ren Brchner to leave Danish incumbent at end of 2016.
TDC this week named a high-level KPN executive as the new head of its YouSee consumer business.
The Danish incumbent is in the process of merging its core triple-play business, which uses the TDC brand, with its YouSee cable operation, and will adopt the YouSee brand as of 1 July.
41-year-old Jaap Postma on Wednesday was named senior executive vice president of YouSee and appointed to TDC’s executive committee. He currently serves as senior executive vice president of KPN’s consumer division.
Postma replaces René Brøchner, who has held the role of CEO of YouSee since April 2014.
Postma will take up his new position on 10 May, at which point Brøchner will assume an advisory role with a view to leaving TDC on 31 December.
