The impact of GDPR on collecting, using and sharing data

 

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force in January 2018 and must be conformed to by any organisation globally that collects, shares or processes data on individuals in the EU. It will impact the way data is collected, used and shared by organisations – including CSP’s – and aims to harmonise data privacy laws across Europe and to protect the privacy rights of citizens.

 

Although it seems a long way off, the consequences of not complying are massive. Are you ready?
