Press Release

Arkadin, a global provider of cloud communication services and an NTT company, today announced the continued global rollout of its Cisco Webex Calling offering, launching in Asia Pacific to provide customers with global PSTN telephony via Cisco’s BroadCloud PBX technology under the Webex brand.

Following successful launches in EMEA, the US and Canada this year, Arkadin will first launch its Cisco Webex Calling offering in Australia and New Zealand on 16th September. After which the launch will extend progressively across the wider Asia Pacific market, delivering a one-stop solution for complete enterprise communication and smarter collaboration for customers in the region.

Cisco Webex Calling is a cloud-based, communications solution, packed with the enterprise-grade features of a PBX and integrated with Webex Teams and Devices. By adding Webex Meetings, the service delivers a complete, business-ready bundle bearing the trusted Cisco Webex brand which is fully delivered, managed and supported by Arkadin. Webex Calling provided by Arkadin enables customers to take advantage of a complete communications service which is bespoke to the single user experience.

As a Cisco Webex Calling Service Provider, Arkadin will provide global PSTN telephony through Cisco’s secure BroadCloud platform, offering full enterprise calling and PBX features to aid businesses with their transformations to a smarter workspace. With all voice services run on parent company, NTT’s global voice network, Arkadin addresses medium and large enterprises with a global cloud calling solution that offers low latency, security and scalability utilising a single licence plan, from a single service provider.

Arkadin’s Webex Calling works natively within the Webex portfolio of products, which has been optimised to provide a fully unified service on desktop or mobile. Webex Calling also makes it easy for customers to move to the cloud at their own pace. By bringing enterprise grade PBX features needed for calling and premium collaboration in one simple package, the solution enables a seamless transition to the cloud.

Commenting on the launch, Sean Kwek, Managing Director of Arkadin, APAC and Japan said: “Cisco Webex Calling provided by Arkadin offers an enterprise-grade suite of calling and collaboration capabilities which is now required by businesses to keep pace with the need for smarter communication and drive productivity across their workforces.
