Radio will never be the same again

Since its launch just over three years ago, Progresif has expended significant effort to build its brand, particularly among the youth market, with a content marketing strategy that yielded content-rich social media channels and a blog and quarterly publication. The next stage in its brand campaign saw Progresif develop and launch a mobile application-based media platform, whose first offering Progresif Radio, enabled the Brunei-based operator to win the Best Brand Campaign trophy.

Progresif Radio is an app-based radio station, which launched in November 2017, bringing together the best features of Internet and terrestrial radio. It features live DJ broadcasts, news and talk segments, and on-demand content including music libraries, podcasts and playlists, as well as a library of streaming radio stations from overseas. The app was custom-built to address the specific needs of the target market and incorporate local and global content, as well as social engagement. It garnered impressive download figures, drove advertising revenue and continues to grow in popularity.
