Press Release
2020 certainly hasn’t been the year that we all expected, and the ongoing COVID-19 impact has had a profound impact on the events industry. Since March this year, many conferences have made the move to a virtual format and have found innovative ways to keep everyone up to date with the latest industry trends and news.
Whilst virtual events have been a great way to keep connected at a time when physically we’re further away from each other than ever before, Total Telecom, like many other businesses, is excited for the return of physical events in 2021.
With the news of a COVID vaccine starting to be rolled out this month, it’s looking ever more likely that live events will be able to take place again in the second half of next year. So, that’s why we’ve taken the decision to postpone Submarine Networks EMEA 2021 from February until 1st – 3rd September.
Heading into its fourth year, Submarine Networks EMEA has successfully established itself as the EMEA region’s leading subsea focused conference. Bringing together senior leaders from across the industry, the conference addresses the key issues facing the global submarine cable industry whilst centring on the EMEA and its surrounding geographies.
Work is already underway for preparations for next year’s event which will include workshops, interactive roundtables, panel discussions, technical presentations, cable project updates and more. The agenda will be split into two main themes for 2021: commercial and technical strategy. To find out more about our plans for 2021, head to the event website or email Kerry.Merritt@totaltele.com
