Sterlite Technologies’ Telecom Software Division – Elitecore is a global provider of Public Wi-Fi, Mobile Data offload and Wi-Fi monetization offerings, today, announces next generation Wi-Fi solutions including Enterprise Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Global Roaming, Wi-Fi calling and Middleware for Carriers and Enterprises at MWC 2017.
Elitecore service management platform (SMP), with successful case references for each of these solutions, will enable Carriers and Enterprises in quick roll-out of customised revenue models. It will offer differentiated Wi-Fi services across segments like hospitality, transportation, education, retail, smart cities, healthcare etc. and transform the end user mobility experience.

Enterprise Wi-Fi enable service providers to leverage Wi-Fi platform and offer customized and personalized services to Enterprise customers in various segments and enhance customer engagement and revenue opportunities.
Wi-Fi global roaming enables operators to offer seamless national and international Wi-Fi roaming to their EAP-SIM / Non EAP-SIM subscribers, iPass/Boingo Wi-Fi users and supports multiple authentication techniques for partnership, Wi-Fi roaming standards including WRIX, WiSPr, Hotspot 2.0 Passpoint compliance and thus harness the opportunity for additional roaming usage and revenues.
Wi-Fi Calling enables operators to overcome the challenges of declining voice revenue, poor indoor coverage, congested cellular spectrum, infrastructure CapEx etc. by offering Voice over Wi-Fi services. The solution offers enhanced 3GPP AAA capabilities of authenticating the user through secured IPSec tunnelling via 3GPP enabled SWm interface and enforcing relevant policies for Wi-Fi Calling.
Middleware solution enables operators to gain an edge over competition by adding pre-integrated middleware capable of handling and intelligently managing high volume of requests in dynamic networks.
Along with the launch of these solutions, Sterlite Tech Elitecore’s flexible and modular SMP has expanded its Carrier Wi-Fi and monetization business cases portfolio by integrating with multiple OEMs partners for cloud based WLAN infrastructure, advanced location computation appliance, and loyalty program partner retail management platform.
