Intracom Telecom, a global telecommunication systems and solutions vendor, announced the successful completion of laboratory and field tests of its WiBAS™ G5 PtMP system with a number of 5G service providers in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific, using their 24GHz, 26GHz and 28GHz spectrum.
More specifically, during the second half of the year, the company has performed five successful trials of the WiBAS™ G5 system in telecom operators’ labs and field sites, where the system demonstrated uninterrupted service and operational excellence. Having passed successfully all the performed tests, the WiBAS™ G5 reaffirmed its ability to deliver several hundreds of Mbps to subscribers at ranges of more than 5km.
