Telefónica’s project also generated many other key learnings, including an understanding that telecom supply chains need to adopt service-focused models.

This latest news from the operator comes after the group’s innovation company, Telefónica I+D, joined with Nokia Spain and 19 partners in 2020 to design advanced IoT technology to transform supply chains.
The European Commission’s initiative, which is expected to end in April 2023, further demonstrates Telefónica’s clear focus and lead in streamlining its supply chain operations across industry, logistics and transport.
