Press Release

Nexign, a leading business support system (BSS) provider for communications service providers (CSPs), has announced its new Red Hat OpenStack Certification. Now, Nexign Network Monetisation Suite (NWM_PCRF, NWM_OCS, and NWM DRA), which offers a universal product for real-time pricing, billing and policy management, has been certified as tested and compatible with the Red Hat OpenStack Platform. This makes it possible to launch an NWM product on a hardware platform running Red Hat OpenStack Platform as a virtual network function (VNF). With Nexign Network Monetisation Suite service providers can introduce digital services faster, reduce operational costs and total cost of ownership (TCO), and access new revenue streams.

“This Red Hat certification demonstrates that Nexign’s products are tested and compatible with Red Hat OpenStack Platform to address the high standards of today’s telecoms business, better enabling service providers to accelerate their digital transformation,” said Alexey Vedin, Product Director, Network Monetisation at Nexign. “This collaboration between Nexign and Red Hat will open up a pathway for more providers all over the world to enjoy the benefits of the Network Monetisation Suite, a product that speeds up the process of launching new services, increases customer loyalty, and optimises expenditure.”

As telecoms operators opt for Red Hat OpenStack Platform as a system platform of choice, clients may require products to be compatible with Red Hat’s technology. Thanks to its inclusion in the catalogue of Red Hat certified products, Nexign Network Monetisation Suite is better positioned to help clients and partners who are striving to improve performance and boost profits through the timely rollout of new products and services on the market. This certification underlines Nexign’s readiness to be able to deploy its products in virtual infrastructure in future projects.

The inclusion of Nexign in Red Hat’s partner ecosystem will also provide the company with access to Red Hat’s knowledge base and product database, helping it to carry out research and develop new high-tech products and solutions for the telecoms sector.

Santiago Madruga, head of EMEA Telco and ICT, Red Hat:
“We’re very pleased to collaborate with Nexign on delivering new business value to CSPs through providing a flexible hybrid cloud infrastructure and welcome them into our ecosystem of Red Hat OpenStack Certified partners. Red Hat OpenStack Platform is backed by a robust ecosystem of certified partners to help more effectively address the needs of CSPs across the globe, and this network enables us to better address enterprise cloud scenarios”.
