NFON AG, one of the world’s leading providers of modern cloud telephone systems, is partnering with Gigaset Communications GmbH, a provider of professional communication solutions for small and medium-sized organizations, for the expansion of its portfolio of professional telephones and to expand its business communications functions. "With Gigaset, we are not only extending our portfolio with phones with a huge well known brand, we are also expanding our sales network to include the business customers of Gigaset Communications GmbH," says Markus Krammer, Vice President Products & New Business at NFON AG.

Thanks to this cooperation, Gigaset pro DECT solutions will be deeply integrated into the NFON telecommunications platform. The advantages for joint customers are advanced features such as the automatic provisioning of Gigaset N510, N720 and pro handsets. Business customers can use the handsets to access the central phonebook and benefit from access to the PBX menu, which includes functions such as call forwarding, hot desking and queues.

In addition, future extensions can be managed entirely from the NFON service portal and new handsets can be added remotely via autoprovisioning. Markus Krammer: "By combining our cloud communications platform with Gigaset pro DECT IP solutions, we are able to offer our customers devices of the highest possible quality and reliability.
