Press Release
Chief Technology Officer Jan Ariesen will host an hour-long session where he will explain how Distributed Gain Architecture (DGA) enables networks to upgrade to 1.8 GHz Extended Spectrum DOCSIS 4.0 without increasing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
The SCTE (Society for Broadband Professionals) has partnered with Technetix to produce the second in its series of webinars on Tuesday 23 February at 2pm GMT/3pm CET.
Entitled “Higher Capacity, Lower Power – achieve both with DGA”, Jan will explain how adopting DGA can achieve 40% greater data capacity in your network at 37% less cost. This session will be live from the Technetix Academy and will include a live demo followed by a moderated Q&A session. This event is aimed at professionals in the broadband industry. It will be streamed via the Zoom platform and the SCTE are encouraging attendees to get involved by asking questions both in advance and on the day.
Jan Ariesen commented, “We are very excited to be working with the SCTE in this way; this webinar is the perfect opportunity to explain how a Distributed Gain Architecture can be adopted in your network today and to respond to questions drawing on data from successful field trials in the US and Europe.”
Melissa Cogavin, Managing Editor at the SCTE said, “We are in the business of connectivity and Technetix are valued members of the SCTE. Their DGA technology is an important development in this sector and we feel there is no better medium of communication at present than a webinar to bring that message home and ensure our members and the wider community feel connected.”
Costas Kyriacou, Chair of the SCTE Lecture Committee responsible for organizing the webinar said, “Our expertise at the SCTE lends itself well to the dissemination of knowledge and the wider education of our community. The Committee and I are therefore delighted to be working with Technetix and examining DGA in considerable depth over the course of this webinar as part of that remit.”
