Total Telecom met ADTRAN’s AVP, Carrier Strategy Robert Conger at FTTH Conference 2017. At the show ADTRAN were demoing their software-defined access architecture CORD (Central Office Re-architected as a Datacenter) and Robert took us through some of the key advantages of this new technology. We also caught up with him on ADTRAN’s NG-PON2 offering and how the technology is enabling software-defined access to flourish.
You can hear more about NG-PON2 and software-defined access architectures at our upcoming Gigabit Access 2017 conference being held in Brussels, Belgium on 4th and 5th April. You can find out more about the event here.
