The second World Vendor Awards were presented in London on the 5 May 2011. Almost 200 senior telecom professionals gathered to see major telecom vendors and niche players recognised for the excellence and innovation in front of an audience of their peers.
13 categories were awarded ranging from Outstanding Vendor of the Year (Alcatel-Lucent) to Best Brand (Ericsson), as well as specialist categories including Technology Foresight (Ciena), Best Hosted Solution (CITIC Telecom CPC) and Best Software Solution (IMImobile).
