Press Release

Unlockd, the “attention-based” mobile rewards platform that rewards users for viewing ads and offers, has today announced the appointment to its Executive team of a key C-level executive.
Andrew Cantle joins the company as Chief Commercial Officer in London.

A seasoned and experienced global executive, Cantle was previously at GoCanvas, where he worked for six years. As VP EMEA & APAC, he was responsible for rolling out the mobile form company’s operations and relationships in EMEA while overseeing continued growth in APAC. In his final role as EVP Global Business Development and Partnerships, he secured clients including Apple, Verizon and PayPal.

Prior to GoCanvas, Andrew served as Country Manager for Australia and the UK at Tranglo Mobile Payments, and GM/Sales Director at SpinVox. Andrew’s earlier career includes diverse regional and global roles across Sales, Marketing and Product.

At Unlockd, Andrew will be responsible for positioning the demand teams globally for future growth, as well as onboarding new supply partners from mobile network operators, streaming and loyalty providers.

“Andrew brings an impressive track record of global executive leadership and results across sales, partnerships and market development,” said Unlockd CEO Jane Martino. “Whilst Andrew’s background is aligned to our supply and partnerships functions, he knows what it takes to build and scale a global business that is both game changing and profitable – so we know Andrew will make a strong executive contribution to the demand side teams.”

“Unlockd’s unique win-win-win model means everyone benefits, whether they’re our reward partners, advertisers or consumers,” said Cantle. “Unlockd provides the opportunity to deliver the right content at the right time, resulting in market-leading engagement and click-through rates for advertisers. As the company scales across its existing developed markets and seeks to enter new ones, it’s a great time to be joining the company, and I’m thrilled to be appointed Chief Commercial Officer.”
