Today at Mobile World Congress, Vice CEO Shane Smith announced a partnership with technology company DOCOMO Digital.
The new partnership has been built around the launch of subscription video-on-demand service Vice+. DOCOMO Digital will help to make the content available on mobile devices, supporting VICE Media with customer acquisition and mobile payment management.
The project is being launched first in Japan, with a roll out into other territories DOCOMO Digital operates in possible in the coming months.
