Vodafone on Monday extended the availability of its home broadband and phone service to all of the U.K.
The mobile operator launched the service two months ago, but only to its own mobile customers, pledging to extend it to non-mobile customers this autumn.
The telco said it can provide a fixed broadband service to 22 million premises in the U.K., using fibre-optic network infrastructure to offer speeds of up to 76 Mbps.
As an introductory offer, Vodafone is offering customers who sign up to the service a year’s worth of Netflix for free.
Vodafone’s broadband bundles are priced according to speed, and existing Vodafone mobile customers get a discount of £5 per month.
The basic plan comes with an ADSL connection offering up to 17 Mbps and costs £10 per month for non-mobile customers or £5 for mobile customers. An interim tier costs £20 for non-mobile customers for 38 Mbps broadband, while a £25-per-month plan provides up to 76 Mbps.
The packages all provide unlimited broadband and free evening and weekend calls to landlines. Vodafone Red mobile customers get free calls to landlines at all times and 300 free minutes to mobile numbers.
Vodafone is also talking up its Vodafone Connect mobile app, which gives customers greater control over their broadband service.
It offers a Family tool to allow customers to restrict the WiFi usage of certain devices, and a Guest WiFi option.
Its Boost option allows customers to prioritise one device on their home networks over the others, while Beam focuses the WiFi signal to compatible devices.
