Telco offers 24-month contracts from 31 per month; pledges to fix faults within one working day
Vodafone UK this week rolled out fixed broadband and telephony services for small businesses.
Broadband speeds of up to 76 Mbps are available, and Vodafone has pledged to fix any faults within one working day where possible. Doubtless customers will soon find out exactly how possible this is.
Included with Vodafone’s small business broadband service is a WiFi router that uses beamforming to improve connectivity to devices such as PCs, smartphones and tablets. It also comes with a boost feature that enables an administrator to prioritise the connection to a chosen device.
"Superfast, reliable, secure broadband is absolutely essential to keep the country’s businesses in business," said Phil Mottram, Vodafone UK’s enterprise director, in a statement on Tuesday. "We’ve invested heavily in our own dedicated network of enterprise quality, fibre optic broadband and can now offer a broadband and landline phone package that’s feature rich with the benefit of enhanced service levels."
24-month contracts start at £30.99 per month, which includes line rental. Additional one-off charges, including £50 for line installation and £40 for fibre provision, may apply, and router delivery will cost £6.99. Companies that opt for the Premium contract will get a mobile WiFi router with 4GB of 4G data per month.
