Press Release

Gigaclear’s ability to streamline its network build has been given a significant boost after Openreach awarded the company national Path to Collaboration (PTC) status.

By successfully demonstrating its diligence and high standard of work as a trusted partner, leading rural internet service provider Gigaclear, is now able to benefit from a far simpler approval process when utilising Openreach’s existing infrastructure under the Physical Infrastructure Access (PIA) product. The accolade enables Gigaclear to accelerate its build through a more efficient delivery process.

Caitlin Johnston, Head of Strategic Partnerships at Gigaclear, said: “This is a huge milestone for us and reflects the hard work, exceptional capability and dedication demonstrated by our delivery teams and build partners. We value the partnership and growing relationship we have built with Openreach and the collaborative approach which has been taken to achieve this status.”

Gav Rae, Principal, Physical Infrastructure Access, Fibre & Network Delivery for Openreach, said: “Gigaclear provide good documentation and a high quality of requests into Openreach. The teams work in a collaborative manner and Openreach is delighted to support Gigaclear in achieving Path to Collaboration.”
