Last year the Marea subsea cable was completed by Microsoft, Facebook and Telxius and instantly became the highest-capacity subsea cable to cross the Atlantic. This catapulted Virginia Beach to prominence, with MBC – Mid-Atlantic Broadband – as a major player.
Tad Deriso, President and CEO of MBC spoke to Total Telecom at Submarine Networks Europe in London this month, explaining about the network they own & operate a network in Virginia and what he sees as the biggest issues on the business horizon.
