Press Release

Arkadin, a global provider of cloud communication services and an NTT Communications company, has today announced the launch of its new brand, Spoka. Designed to deliver powerful cloud-based communications solutions for the Small and Medium Business (SMB) market and developed in partnership with Cisco’s BroadSoft, Spoka will provide customers the simplest way for businesses to unify their communications – from telephone calls, digital meetings, instant messaging, file sharing and more – on all devices to enhance collaboration and increase productivity across teams.

To ease the deployment of the solution, Spoka is sold via an eCommerce platform with an easy-to-understand pricing model and removes the need for complicated hardware installation and upfront costs. It will allow SMBs and entrepreneurs to embrace cloud communication technology without the burdens of infrastructure and capital expense – all through one simple application. Targeting the needs of dynamic and fast-growing organisations, the brand will provide two easy-to-use offerings designed for the small business community:

– Spoka Talk, a cloud-based telephone system with enterprise-grade calling features including a dedicated phone number for all users available across multiple devices (PC, mobile app or desktop phone) and the ability to make unlimited international calls to landlines in 50 countries and mobile phones in 25, enabling global communication for one monthly cost.

– Spoka Connect, a full range of UC solutions that enables SMEs to connect third-party business apps, such as Gmail, Outlook and SalesForce, giving instant access to relevant information and documents previously shared or worked on with colleagues for improved efficiency and productivity.

With plans to add new products and features to the Spoka offering, the solutions are tailored to meet small businesses’ specific needs with key features such as, rapid setup and flexible, non-committal invoicing.

Spoka will first launch today in France, Germany and the UK before expanding to the US and Asia-Pacific regions in Q2 2019. Existing Arkadin SMB customers will receive a dedicated introductory plan to the solution.

“You no longer need to be a big business to work like one. With the launch of our new brand, Spoka, we are simplifying the way SMBs and entrepreneurs get things done,” said Didier Jaubert, CEO of Arkadin. “In partnership with Cisco’s BroadSoft, Spoka aims to deliver a scalable and cost-effective solution that gives small businesses access to features that were previously only available to larger enterprises.”

Michael Tessler, CEO of BroadSoft said: “Addressing the needs of small businesses is imperative to our objective to provide businesses with efficient and scalable communication. As companies grow and these needs change, it is important that organisations have access to technology that truly revolutionises the way they work, communicate and collaborate. We are proud to work with Arkadin to deliver world-class unified communications solutions to new markets and geographies.”
