For the second year running Comviva Technologies walked away from the World Vendor Awards with two trophies, this time for Best Software Solution and for Best Emerging Market Product. The awards were received by AVP, Vinay Phillip Matthew.
The second World Vendor Awards were presented in London on the 5 May 2011. Almost 200 executives from telecom industry gathered to see both major and niche market vendors rewarded for their innovation and excellence. The winners were rewarded for products and services offering innovative solutions in areas such as cloud, VoIP and femtocells, solutions addressing green issues or serving emerging markets, and for their overall excellence as a vendor or a brand. Big winners from the night included Alcatel-Lucent, IMImobile, and Comviva Technologies. The World vendor Awards were sponsored by professional services firm PricewaterhouseCoopers, next-generation network solution provider, Ipanema Technologies and ICT services company, CITIC Telecom CPC. The awards are organised by Total Telecom.
