Earlier this month the third annual Connected Britain conference saw almost 400 delegates come together to debate the infrastructure, services, and digital connectivity for Britain’s future.

Total Telecom TV spoke to some of the attendees to see how they experienced the event. In this video you can hear from CityFibre, Comtec, Huber + Suhner, ITS Technology Group, Mimosa Networks, Openreach, and VenturaNext.

This year Connected Britain continued to attract the big names as participants and speakers, and as a result saw major news stories reported widely across the media. Minister Matt Hancock stressed continuity of broadband policy after the election, whilst for the opposition Lord Mendelsohn express concern at the UK government’s lack of ambition. 3UK warned that rolling out a 5G network under today’s mobile market conditions would bankrupt many operators, and Openreach’s CEO explained that they want to "get much closer" to its communications providers.

The next Connected Britain show will take place on the 19-20 June 2018 at the Business Design Centre in London. To start discussions about your involvement, call Cheryl Cheong on +44 20 7092 1078 or email Cheryl.Cheong@totaltele.com
