The Institute of Telecommunications Professionals (ITP) welcomes Dave Davis MBE, Key Account Senior Systems Engineer at VT iDirect, as its newest board member.
Crissi Williams, CEO of the ITP, said “We are thrilled to welcome Dave to our board. A long-standing supporter of the ITP, Dave has been involved with our apprenticeship scheme since its inception and a three-time winner of our Mentor of the Year Award.”
Dave commented: “I’m really excited to be joining the board of the ITP at such a pivotal time in the industry. Satellites are playing an ever increasingly important role in telecommunications and I hope to be able to support the ITP expand into this field more and more. I’ve seen first-hand over many years how the ITP can help individuals and companies and being a small part in that is something I am very much looking forward to.”
The Board of the ITP UK Limited governs the work of the ITP and comprises senior personnel from across the sector. They bring expertise gained in other industries and together are responsible for running the business on behalf of ITP members.
