Press Release
Intracom Telecom, a global telecommunication systems and solutions vendor, announced that two of its leading wireless solutions, WiBAS™ G5 evo-BS, WiBAS™ G5 Connect+, operating at 24 GHz frequency band, obtained the Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) Certification. Also, the company’s E-Band radio UltraLink™-GX80 that is ideally suited for use in demanding transport applications requiring fiber-like capacity up to 10 Gbit/s full duplex, has achieved compliance to the Canadian authority’s regulations.
“Getting recognized by the ISED signifies that our high quality product portfolio has the ability to meet the demands of every market in the world. As a matter of fact, we are testing the 24GHz WiBAS G5 platform with an interested customer, as Canada is a premium location for testing suburban and rural FWA. Our WiBAS™ G5 evo-BS, WiBAS™ G5 Connect+ and UltraLink™-GX80, fully in line with ISED Canada’s requirements, can contribute to enhancing the country’s connectivity, and provide multiple Gbit/s capacities, “ said Dimitris Pantelopoulos, Intracom Telecom R&D Director.
UltraLink™-GX80 is a state-of-the-art E-Band radio, which offers the highest system gain at 10 Gbit/s, low latency, carrier networking features and support for advanced packet synchronization methods, fully satisfying the transport requirements of 4G+ and 5G mobile networks.
WiBAS™ G5 evo-BS Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) base station, at the 24 GHz band, can operate side by side with 5G systems in adjacent channels thanks to its intelligent software.
WiBAS™ G5 Connect+ is an advanced terminal station for operators seeking to deploy quickly ultra-broadband service to subscribers, and is remarkably flexible, as it is able to operate both in TDD and FDD in the 24 GHz spectrum.
