At the recent MWC conference in Barcelona, Total Telecom spoke to Loukas Tzitzis, Chief Products & Marketing Officer, Nexign and Maxim Nartov, Digital BSS Products Director.
Loukas explained how Nexign, one of the leading providers of integrated revenue and customer management products with a Tier 1 operator reference of more than 77M subscribers on a single platform, has launched a new product portfolio that is trying to address the current business challenges of CSP’s and how they can transform themselves to DSP’s. Besides CSP’s ensuring that they select a true end-to-end IoT Platform that addresses connectivity, big data analytics and applications, Loukas explained that operators must ensure that their BSS as well as their Policy control and charging systems need to be updated to be ready for the 5G, partnership-ecosystem based business models of the Digital economy era.
Maxim gave us his view on how Nexign products and services go beyond agility to capitalise on the network slicing capabilities introduced by 5G as well as address the importance of digital channels, omnichannel customer experience and partnerships towards enabling new monetisation capabilities for operators.
