Press Release
From this month, UK based telecoms training specialists Mpirical pledge to donate £2 for every course completed in their LearningZone to the Worldwide Education Project – a charity which aims to make quality education accessible in developing, disaster and conflict affected countries. The pledge will see regular quarterly lump sums donated to the WWEP based on the number of courses completed by their entire cohort of students across the telecoms industry who are utilizing their dedicated LearningZone platform.
Graeme Green, Managing Director for Mpirical says:
“Now more than ever is a time to reflect on what we can do to help make a difference. We pride ourselves on making learning accessible to the telecoms industry, regardless of level, role or technology specialism. But we wanted to push this ethos further by joining forces with a cause who are really helping to making quality learning accessible to all.”
Recent humanitarian efforts from the WWEP have been centered around the construction of classrooms at the Kakuma refugee camp – aiming to reduce pupil numbers in the overcrowded mud brick classrooms, whilst also providing teacher support.
Mr Green concludes: “We hope that our pledge will give our students that extra boost to complete their learning, whilst raising awareness and making a real difference to the excellent work that WWEP are undertaking globally.”
