Press Release
NFON UK, an entity of NFON AG, Europe’s leading cloud telephony provider, is pleased to announce that through its partnership with Westcoast, one of the UK’s leading IT Distributors, its partners now have the unique opportunity to derive ‘Skype for Business as a Service.’
NFON UK and Westcoast formally announced their partnership in February, where Westcoast added NFON’s cloud telephony product portfolio to its range of cloud services, enabling its IT partners to make a seamless shift to voice.
For the first time, through a single solution, partners can deliver all the telephony features and the collaboration tools customer’s need – whatever their business activities, wherever their people are based, and however they work. NFON’s Cloud Telephone System offers over 150 advanced features. Now, with Skype for Business integration, features such as Interactive Voice Response (IVR), time controlled call routing, queue management and extension to extension dialling are available via the Skype for Business interface, along with all of NFON’s other telephony features.
Myles Leach, Managing Director, NFON UK: “This proposition has been enabled from our longstanding server-level cloud integration with Skype for Business, which removes the costs, risks and delays that partners will have previously encountered with application-level integration. Having “Skype for Business as a Service” changes the economics for full-blown UC, lowers the barriers of entry for the SME market and enables partners to offer customers a fast rollout, without any onsite hardware or software, on a monthly subscription model with a 30-day rolling contract.
“The SME market is one of the new growth areas for the NFON UK business, as we look to consolidate a prolonged period of market expansion in the mid to large enterprise space. This Skype for Business proposition is a great opportunity to do just that and we are thrilled to be doing it hand in glove with Westcoast.”
Justin Powell, Channel Account Manager, Westcoast: “We have great feedback from our partners since adding NFON’s cloud telephony to our IT product set – it’s been a great revenue driver. The UK market is one of the strongest adopters of Skype for Business in Europe, but there are a lot of myths around its deployment, which we are thoroughly busting with this true UC proposition that can be easily and cost effectively rolled out.”
