In 2016, Telstra partnered the Economist Intelligence Unit on research to explore the potential for digital transformation within 11 countries in Asia. The report, entitled Connecting Capabilities, found that despite countries in Asia Pacific such as Singapore and South Korea doing well to facilitate digital transformation, Asia as a whole still lags behind the UK, US and Australia – particularly when it comes to digital infrastructure and human capital.
