Vaioni Wholesale, a market leading and multi-award-winning national network operator, has announced its ambitious plans to disrupt the UK’s connectivity industry, through a multi-million-pound investment in its Ethernet network (V.E.N.), Vaioni Wholesale is to build one of the most powerful Software Defined Networks in the UK.
Vaioni Wholesale initially launched V.E.N. into 3 of the UK’s major digital hubs (London, Manchester and Birmingham) in 2015, with the aim of helping its partners acquire bigger and faster Ethernet connections with disruptive commercials. Since then, Vaioni Wholesale has continued to grow V.E.N. incorporating a further 6 cities in 2017 and more recently connects over 60 cities and towns, 96 exchanges and 180,000 postcodes throughout the UK in 2018. This latest expansion announcement will see V.E.N. become one of the UK’s largest Ethernet networks, connecting 170 cities and towns throughout the UK, connecting approximately 80% of UK businesses to the advanced network. Built on Vaioni Wholesale’s Core Network, which boasts a 100% uptime for the last 3 years, V.E.N. standardises 1Gb and 10Gb services with the highest reliability and security, to enable its partners maintain a competitive advantage.
By bringing efficiency to the network, the edge and the customer, V.E.N.’s intelligent and Software Defined Network (SDN), will empower its Channel Partners to manage their customers networks and extend automation tools to the customer, delivering flexibility, agility and security to the network and the customer, putting Channel Partners and their customers back in control of their connectivity.
