Press Release

Stefica Divkovic has been appointed as group vice president, sales, for Verizon’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. She takes on overall responsibility for Verizon’s Global Enterprise business in EMEA, and particularly for supporting the company’s fast-expanding enterprise customer base.

Stefica previously ran the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region for Verizon Global Enterprise. She joined Verizon from T-Systems in 2017.

Stefica succeeds Rich Montgomery, former Group Vice President, International, for Verizon, who is taking up a new role in the company’s Global Integrated Solutions business. Rich commented on her appointment: “I’m delighted that Stefica is taking on the leadership role for Verizon EMEA. She has extensive experience in driving channel, vertical market and platform sales, coupled with expertise in digital transformation, business integration and convergence. She will be a real catalyst for progress in the region.”

Stefica commented: “2020 will be an exciting year for us as a business, and I look forward to helping our customers really make the most of technology innovation to do business better. I have a real passion and commitment to excellence in customer service, and look forward to putting this into play for the benefit of all our EMEA customers.”

Stefica will be based in Dortmund, Germany, and will report to George Fischer, Verizon Global Enterprise’s group president. Her new role is effective as of January 1, 2020. Pantelis Astenburg has been appointed as interim DACH managing director until her successor is announced.
